Who can apply

• Bar Council of India ya State Bar Council ke saath advocate register karne ke liye eligible hona chahiye, aur aapka college ya university Bar Council of India se recognised hona chahiye.
• Nationality: India ka citizen, ya Nepal ka, ya Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia ya Vietnam se permanent settlement ke liye India aaye log (last group ko Government of India eligibility certificate chahiye; Nepal ke Gorkha subjects ko nahi).

Training, rank aur pay

• OTA Chennai mein 49 weeks ki pre-commission training April 2027 se shuru hogi.
• Training ke dauran stipend: ₹56,100 per month.
• Lieutenant rank par Judge Advocate General's branch mein commission hoga.
• Commission hone ke baad company ka cost lagbhag ₹17 se 18 lakh per year hai.

• Hostel subsidy ₹6,750 per month har do sabse bade bacche ke liye, aur defence allowance rates dearness allowance ke har 50% increase par 25% badh jate hain.

• Short Service Commission 14 saal ke liye — pehle 10 saal, phir 4 saal extendable.
• 5 saal, 10 saal ya 14 saal par release options hain.
• 10 saal ke baad permanent commission ke liye apply kar sakte hain, agar suitable paye jaate hain.
