• Correction window: 18 to 20 August 2026.
• The written competitive exam is stated as 12 October 2026, but the notification itself calls that date provisional ('अनन्तिम') and says a revised date will be circulated separately through the website and press releases. We have therefore not set it as a confirmed date and no reminder fires on it.
• The exam is OFFLINE, objective, multiple-choice.
• Admit cards are NOT sent by post. Download them from www.sssc.uk.gov.in, and check that site regularly — every important announcement about this recruitment is made there and nowhere else.

How to apply

1. Apply online at www.sssc.uk.gov.in up to 15 August 2026.
2. Read the post-code block for your specific post before applying. The pay level, the minimum age and the typing requirement all differ between the eighteen entries, and applying against the wrong post code cannot be fixed after the correction window.

Fee — and one refund rule that costs people money

• Unreserved and Uttarakhand OBC — ₹300. Uttarakhand SC, Uttarakhand ST and EWS — ₹150. Uttarakhand divyang — ₹150. Orphan candidates — nil.
• Payment by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI only. Any other mode is not accepted.
• ⚠️ If you deposit LESS than the prescribed fee, or the fee does not reach the commission's account by the last date, the application is automatically treated as cancelled.
• ⚠️ Never submit more than one online application for the same post — every application you filed for that post gets cancelled.
• If you spot a mistake after paying, you may CANCEL the application before the last date and file a fresh one. But the fee already paid is never refunded and is never adjusted against the new application. Check the form before you pay, not after.
• A payment that fails technically, or fails after the money leaves your account, is refunded in due course.

Registration and uploads

• You register with your Aadhaar number, and one Aadhaar can be used only once. Use your own mobile number and email.
• Keep your email and password safe permanently, and note your registration number — every future login and every stage of this recruitment needs it.
• Wrong information cancels the candidature and can bar you from future UKSSSC examinations.
• Uploads, in JPG/JPEG: recent colour passport photograph 150×200 px, signature 150×100 px, and a clear LEFT THUMB impression 150×100 px for biometric verification.
• Your application counts as complete only when the Status column reads 'Completed Print'. Take the printout and keep it — you will need it for any objection or correspondence later.

Claiming reservation, and what happens if you do not

• Vertical and horizontal reservation must be CLAIMED in the online form. If you do not enter the claim, you do not get the benefit — the commission will not infer it from your certificate later.
• You must already hold the reservation and qualification certificates by the last date for online applications, and produce them at document scrutiny.
• An OBC certificate is valid for 3 years from its date of issue (government order 310/XVII-2/16-02(OBC)/2012 of 26 February 2016) and must still be valid on the last date.
• An EWS certificate must be based on financial year 2025-26 income and valid for 2026-27.
• A reserved candidate's result is declared in their own category unless they place in the Open Category merit on their own marks.
• Orphan horizontal reservation covers permanent residents of Uttarakhand whose biological or adoptive parents both died before the child turned 21, and orphans living in state or voluntary homes. The certificate comes from an officer not below Deputy Collector, on the District Probation Officer's recommendation.

After the written exam

• Document scrutiny is a compulsory part of the process. Not attending cancels your candidature.
• Every communication about scrutiny is made on the commission's website and through no other channel.
• Qualifications are checked against the service rules. Holding a qualification the rules do not recognise cancels the candidature, however good it is.
• Admission at every stage is provisional. An admit card does not mean your candidature is finalised — it can be rejected later, and a recommendation already sent can be withdrawn.
• Declaring false facts, producing forged certificates, or copying, helping, or attempting to help anyone in the exam means being debarred from all commission examinations and having an FIR lodged.
