Main exam — 3 papers, Paper 1 merit mein nahi jata
- Main exam ke liye candidates ko category-wise merit order mein 15 times vacancies ke hisab se bulaya jayega. Last selected candidate ke saath tie hone par bhi aage badhoge.
- 3 papers, har paper 2 ghante ka. Har question 3 marks ka, wrong answer par 1 mark kaat liya jayega.
- Paper 1 — Language: 60 Hindi + 60 English ke questions (har language: 20 unseen passage par, 40 grammar par). Minimum 30% lagana zaroori hai. Yeh paper sirf qualifying hai — iske marks merit mein nahi jodenge. Agar 30% se kam hai toh baki papers ke bawajood tum out ho.
- Paper 2 — Regional / tribal language: 100 questions, ek language choose karni hai — Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Bangla, Mundari (Munda), Ho, Kharia, Kurukh (Oraon), Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchparganiya, Odia ya Sanskrit. Minimum 30%.
- Paper 3 — General knowledge, 120 questions: General Studies 30 · Jharkhand 40 · General Science 20 · General Mathematics 10 · Mental Ability 10 · Computer knowledge 10. Minimum 30%.
- Final merit = Paper 2 + Paper 3 ke marks se banti hai, lekin sirf un candidates ke liye jo Paper 1 ka 30% clear kar lete hain.
Exam fee
- General candidates ke liye ₹100.
- Jharkhand ke SC aur ST candidates ke liye ₹50. Agar koi aur is reduced fee ko pay kar deta hai toh uski application reject ho jayegi aur candidature terminate ho jayegi.
- Jharkhand ke 40% ya zyada disability wale divyang candidates ko full exemption.
- Fee na bhare toh application reject ho jayegi. Fee non-refundable hai.
